Should we then have a U.S. ambassador in Uzbekistan if they have thousands of political prisoners?

I went to Belarus... I was very surprised when we landed and there was no ambassador in Belarus.

I am just trying to get a sense about it.

So we are talking about people being held now that are in the hundreds?

So there are 200 or 250 people you'd consider political prisoners and that is in Tajikistan?

There are--in Uzbekistan there are thousands of political prisoners now.

So we don't have to really agree on whether or not global warming is caused by CO2 to be very interested in this whole concept of science research and expanding the use of CO2 in a positive way.

The basic motive behind much of what's going on about CO2 is based on the theory that CO2 is a major factor in causing our planet to get hotter and hotter. I don't happen to agree with that.

So let's go through that. Where are the new jobs going to be created? What new jobs will be created by the advances that you're advocating?

I do not believe that the President--again, the criticism that the President is hollowing out the State Department is ridiculous.

I consider that singling out our President today is very political.

Our legal immigration, as I say, it is the best in the whole world.

I think members of our State Department should be concerned about massive flows of people coming into our country illegally.

I identify myself with the remarks of Ileana Ros-Lehtinen and her concerns about Nicaragua and Venezuela.

Let us just note that that policy was in place and put in place during the Obama administration.

When we were sold the bill of goods... we were told that more trade and more economic activity... would create a more peaceful world and democratize China.

I voted against WTO. I didn't think it would work.

The Chinese now have a very competitive space system because they got all their R&D from us.

I remember under Bill Clinton when we transferred our utmost, our most important rocket technology to the Chinese.

The bottom line is we don't have all the Americans fighting for when they go overseas, our elites go overseas and are not looking out for the United States of America.
