The current system is broken. It is never ending. And we are just going to--it is going to continue to get worse if we do not take action.

The Department generally concurred with our recommendations, but as of May 2016, had not addressed four of the six recommendations.

If Congress had funded an infrastructure bank for example and rebuilt schools, bridges, roads, and transit, we would have lower unemployment and a stronger economy.

I believe keeping interest rates low helps calm and strengthen our economy.

I thank the Senator for his response. What could be more fundamental a job for government than to keep our people and our communities safe.

Can you very briefly go over what you're doing to increase diversity in the CIA?

The parties spent $255 million in 2012 politicking because that is what they are there to do. They have a partisan position, so they are using their money that people contribute to politick. And by the way, when you make a contribution…

It could be 20, 30, 40 years and so that commitment will also commit the rate payers to paying for basically the cost of building the pipeline would go to the rate payers.

This is also not an inexpensive proposition because our gas company is looking to spend some $200 million in order to set up this system.

This is something that FERC is undertaking?

To do your good work, to hire the quality people, you need the resources?

The last thing we want to see is that the money that people contribute to Social Security into the trust fund is used for the wrong reasons, whether because of fraud, or waste or abuse.

Social Security must work continuously to prove to all those people in America who paid into it, over the years, that their benefits will be there.

If Congress continues to shortchange Social Security's ability to do its work, whether in fraud detection or in basic service.
