I think one of the difficulties, actuarially for the companies, is trying to figure out how much to charge for somebody that can purchase their insurance on the way to the emergency room.

That will be a little difficult for them without the rule being in place.

The bottom line is that these changes will increase the cost of these plans to employers and their workers.

It seems to me like if you exclude people, you don't truly have a free market.

We're concerned that they could cherry-pick the best risks and that their enrollees could unwittingly be left without important consumer protections provided by State law.

But, they have to do that so far--all their work without the rule.

Exchanges, however, cannot fix the fundamental problems with the new Health Care Law.

In short, bureaucrats will design the insurance plans that everyone must buy because the authors of the new law believe that government knows what's best for all of us.

I strongly support her nomination. She's an excellent candidate for this important diplomatic position.

Make no mistake, the Inspector General's findings trouble me as much as they do you.

This hearing is an agenda-driven rush to judgment. It is a cart before the horse, a verdict before the trial.

That testimony was ultimately found to contain so many factual errors and mischaracterizations that it was substantially revised and reissued.
