Andrew Cuomo is an American politician who served as the 56th governor of New York from 2011 to 2021. A member of the Democratic Party, he focused on issues such as economic development, healthcare reform, and education during his tenure. Prior to his governorship, Cuomo served as the Attorney General of New York from 2007 to 2010, where he gained recognition for his work on consumer protection and public corruption cases. He also held the position of Secretary of Housing and Urban Development under President Bill Clinton from 1997 to 2001, advocating for affordable housing and urban development initiatives.
I now understand that I acted in a way that made people feel uncomfortable.
I acknowledge some of the things I have said have been misinterpreted as an unwanted flirtation. To the extent anyone felt that way, I am truly sorry about that.
To be clear I never inappropriately touched anybody and I never propositioned anybody. And I never intended to make anyone feel uncomfortable. But these are allegations that New Yorkers deserve answers to.
I now understand my interactions may have been insensitive or too personal and that some of my comments given my position made others feel in ways I never intend.

Everybody was working 24 hours a day. Everybody was overwhelmed. We were in the midst of dealing with a pandemic and trying to save lives.
In retrospect, we should have prioritized providing more information.
There is nothing to investigate. All the numbers we produced were exactly right. We didn`t provide all the information that was requested. That did create a void and misinformation did fill the void.
To be clear, all the deaths in the nursing homes and in the hospitals were always fully publicly and accurately reported.
They have been denying the reality of the situation from the beginning. You want to start over, you want to hit the reset button, I will tell you how we hit the reset button in this country. We start this time with the truth.
The last thing you want on top of this chaos is people get a first dose and then they come back with a second dose and you say we ran out.
Why you wouldn't take action and require that people who fly to this country be tested first is beyond me.
Let Joe Biden take the reins. Let him start working with the governors. And let's get it done, because I don't believe Trump has the capacity to do it anyway.
This was the president himself, right, liberate Michigan, liberate New York, organizing protests against governors who were trying to protect the people in their state.
The federal government won't fund the states to do this. The CDC estimates that it will cost $6 billion.
Fifty percent said they fear the president politicized the FDA's approval process.
