Chicago is proof that incompetent leadership can turn a deep-dish city into a half-baked mess.

I believe in government that works.

Today, I am calling on you to move out immediately and give your affordable housing back to an unhoused family who need[s] it.

I have done it time and time again for the people of New York. Let’s do it again.

I know, personally, he doesn’t want to fight with me. Personally, I don’t want to fight with him, right? So I don’t think he’s going to be eager to create a conflict.

I’ve never spoken to him about the mayor’s race.

My knowledge gives me an ability to be in a formidable position as an opponent for the president.

But also at the same time, I would try to work with the president where we could. He’s the president. We need the federal government – there’s a lot of good things he can do for the city.

There is no tonal shift between the primary and the general. I’m not trying to get Republican votes; those are going to Eric Adams and Curtis Sliwa.

New Yorkers would say it’s BS. And that has to be exposed. It is all a fraud. Slick salesman.

None of it would make a difference.

If you’re going to run, even if you’re just a spoiler, then it’s about you and your ego.
