We have got to end the low-balling. We have got to live by the law.

But the bottom line is that this is about real people, real lives, real families, who do the right thing.

It is pretty ridiculous to toll the statute of limitations before there is even a proof of loss.

There is, my words, low-balling taking place. And whether that low-balling is intentional or out of concern of the consequences of the way the program is stacked, it just simply is unacceptable.

Well, I think human nature is going to indicate exactly what is going to happen in cases like that.

My understanding is they cannot appeal FEMA's determination that a claim was overpaid.

So insurance companies have been obviously more concerned about making overpayments based upon the set of circumstances under which they now find themselves having to, in essence, pay clawback, what FEMA considers as an overpayment.
