More than 10,000 people die every year from drunk-driving crashes. It is the leading cause of traffic crash deaths in the country.

Drunk driving is preventable. But the statistics haven't really changed since the mid-1990s.

We can no longer rely only on education campaigns or punishment after the fact.

These bills would help generics overcome the barrier of patent listing.

These are all commonsense solutions that will remove unnecessary barriers to competition.

I do want to thank the witnesses that are here for agreeing to testify before us this morning.

Because of these actions, I have lost confidence in EPA's ability to implement this law and ban asbestos.

Regrettably, while Republicans share the goal of today's hearing--and we do--and some of these bills have bipartisan cosponsorship, and we do want to lower the cost of prescription drugs--we wish it were more inclusive.
