Albio Sires is a Democratic politician from New Jersey who served as the U.S. Representative for New Jersey's 8th congressional district from 2006 to 2023. Prior to his tenure in Congress, Sires was a member of the New Jersey General Assembly and served as the Mayor of West New York. Throughout his political career, he has focused on issues such as immigration reform, education, and infrastructure development. Sires has been an advocate for the needs of his constituents, particularly in urban areas, and has worked on various initiatives to improve local communities.
