It seems to me that usually if you have got a problem with your toe, that they usually do a vascular evaluation before they start operating on the toe.

It would be nicer for me for you to have a personal statement, and I know you probably can't do that because somebody told you to read that.
One of my complaints, to tell you the truth, Doctor, is the fact that the doctors have very little say in how the VA works.
June is Alzheimer's and Brain Awareness Month. This month is set aside as a time for us to raise awareness of what Alzheimer's disease is, the devastating impact that this disease has on millions of people throughout our Nation, and what…
Today I rise in celebration of our servicemen and -women, past and present. With Memorial Day right around the corner, there is no better time to remember the people who have kept our Nation safe. Yesterday I was proud to welcome a UP…
It is past time to give our healthcare providers the tools they need to confront the growing epidemic of opioid abuse in our country. This is an emergency. As a doctor who has treated patients in northern Michigan for over 30 years, both…
I mean, it hurts me, because these are blocking and tackling, this is solving the individual problems that veterans have when calling.
This is a crucial thing. I mean, I have had individuals talk to me about this very problem, you know, and they try to kill themselves in the parking lot of the VA because they couldn't get help.
So you are telling me that there are only 12 places in the country that this is actually occurring out of the hundreds of VA facilities around?
The things we are talking about here today really are examples of the Federal Government getting involved in things that they don't have the right to do. I think a lot of it comes from these bureaucrats that are just writing regulations…

H.R. 3956 would help correct this lack of permanent leadership at the health care centers that so many of our nation's veterans rely on.
I think, to tell you the truth, if you had to pay somebody to go to the home for 6 to 8 hours, it would cost you more than $300.
Today I rise to urge the Senate to quickly act on House-passed VA accountability legislation. According to recent VA Inspector General reports, wait time manipulation occurred at 40 VA facilities in 19 States. Yet, almost no one has…
Thank you. Well, it is a pleasure to be here this morning with the Members of the Subcommittee on Health and our colleague from the Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations.
I thank Ms. Kaptur very much for setting up this time for us to come together on the floor to talk about the importance of the Great Lakes. I also thank Mr. Kelly for being here as well. It is nice to know there are some issues that are…
Some government health care entities and some academic health care entities are world-class, best in show providers. But some are not.
