So you are telling me that there are only 12 places in the country that this is actually occurring out of the hundreds of VA facilities around?

I want to thank Mr. Yoho for putting on this Special Order hour. I am very happy to be able to participate in it. I think that we really need to be sure the American people are aware of what is going on and that they make their decisions…

H.R. 3956 would help correct this lack of permanent leadership at the health care centers that so many of our nation's veterans rely on.

I think, to tell you the truth, if you had to pay somebody to go to the home for 6 to 8 hours, it would cost you more than $300.

Why do you object to that?

I think we are talking about two different patient sets, though.

It is definitely cheaper to deny the care.

That makes a lot of sense then. I will yield back.

Like most patients, I would say.

Is a veteran going to be able to call and get an appointment for themself?

Well, can't the appointment be made right at the time that the patient is referred, right there so the patient can participate?

I am concerned that the tiered network the VA has proposed will hold government and academic affiliate providers to a different, perhaps a less stringent, standard than private sector providers will be held to.

Some government health care entities and some academic health care entities are world-class, best in show providers. But some are not.

I think that you really need to work on that issue, because many of the physicians are very frustrated with it in the VA.

Providing a top-notch health care and benefits that our Nation's veterans deserve is impossible without an equally top-notch workforce.

I think that there is a position here that we do not understand why we are acquiring more land when we have a backlog of just maintaining the land?

I applaud the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service delisting the gray wolf in the Great Lakes states and Wyoming.

The gray wolf was recovered in the Great Lakes and ready for delisting and State management. I urge my colleagues to support this amendment.

I think we should manage the land you have instead of acquiring more.

There is too big of a project. There is not enough smaller projects so that the average logger in the area can actually do the project.

I agree with you on the emergency fire spending. That is a problem we have to fix.

I reiterate or echo your feelings about this third-party administration thing and I realize that there was an urgency in getting the Choice started.
