I want to thank you all for joining us this afternoon. I truly appreciate it.
I hope that, as I said earlier, that the testimony of the first panel affects you all in your zeal to make things better.
I am just concerned that there is a political part to the fast-tracking of favorite projects by someone in the Department versus another issue.
But, I mean, amongst all the mining countries, we are apparently very slow in our process.
Today I rise in support of H.R. 2642, the farm bill. Like many of my colleagues in this body, I am honored to represent a district with a deep agricultural heritage. Because I am a doctor by trade, not a farmer, it has been important for…
I think the VA contends that they have a peer review process for determining how to fund research.
I realize that amount seems very small considering the number of veterans that are coming home with the problem.
I thank the gentleman from Florida, and I rise today in support of H.R. 1171, the FOR VETS Act of 2013. This bipartisan legislation will allow veterans service organizations access to Federal surplus property. In December, 2010, President…

I would like to thank the gentlewoman from North Carolina for allowing me to be here as well. I rise today in support of the rule for H.R. 1797, the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act, and to urge my colleagues to support this…

I appreciate your comment and the fact that sometimes there is not anyone responsible.
