I believe it is extraordinarily important that the process for designation and the communication and the transparency be done to the highest standard possible.
I care deeply about free markets and believe that market pricing should dictate all of, kind of, government financing.
I do think it is very consistent with the economic policy of the United States.
I have developed my own kind of three-part test, which is: The first part is: Is it in the economic interest of the United States?
In my opinion, by almost any measure the President's policies have made a clear and measurable difference in terms of getting people to work and getting the economy back on track.
The short to mid-term game, if you will, in my opinion is increasing our investment in infrastructure.
The long game, if you will, is education: greater investment in education and reform to how we think about education.
We do have to worry about segments of our population who are either not working, or who are working at jobs where they have a declining standard of living.
