One of the biggest failures is the most recent report that we had. And the DHS, Department of Homeland Security inspector general found that 73 individuals with links to terrorism passed TSA's vetting process.

Unfortunately, even 15 years--2001, this is 2016--15 years later we still seek a system that has not complied with the laws that we have passed multiple times with the requests we've had, and we see failures.

We have an important responsibility in transportation oversight, and that's to make certain that the laws and all of the caveats that we set forth for public agencies, particularly for security and safety, are complied with by agencies.

We have a responsibility to these kids.

There is no reason, Mr. King, why Mr. Harris shouldn't be fired.

I think Congress and the American people have to think that a CIO position, chief information officer position, stands for chaos, ineptness, and outrage after what we have learned this morning.

It seems like we have got a little bit of a problem here with getting responses.

But again, do you know if the U.N. is vetting them with Syrian and Assad officials and checking to see if they have ISIS connections?

So we have got illegals here.

We provided enough money to deport up to 400,000.

We basically have lost control of our borders. We have somewhere between 11-, and I have heard 15 million people here who are illegal entrants.

The biggest Visa Waiver Program in the history of mankind is the Obama waiver. He gave executive--an executive order to allow those people to stay in spite of their being here illegally.

You cannot purchase a fully automatic anything at a gun show.

When you go through and grant a visa, are the State Department folks who are doing the interviewing, are they all checking these folks against the U.S. no-fly list?

But again, we're talking about doing the same kind of thing we did with her.

I think that's very important.

But it doesn't appear that, again, that there was proper procedure and proper consideration for security given the final design.

These men and women who have faithfully served our nation deserve the very best medical care.
