Today is another one of our hearings focused on passenger rail in the United States, and this is an oversight hearing.
I remember I phrased it slow speed trains to nowhere, and I got a number of delegation letters...
I don't mind investing the money if we know how it is being spent, but to come and ask for more and we haven't been able to spend it.
We are not going to stop, we are not going to be dissuaded by our detractors.
We are doing for the next generation what previous generations did for us, we have an obligation to do what other generations did.
I want to thank all of our witnesses before us today, and I look forward to your testimony about this important issue.
