President Nixon reaffirms his pledge to cooperate fully with the House and Senate to achieve speedy passage of this urgently needed legislation.

Pakistan and the United States of America have been friends since the time that Pakistan became an independent nation.

I urge all our citizens to involve themselves personally in fire prevention activities in their own communities, working with local fire departments and local governments as well as with the National Fire Protection Association.
