Has there been an increase in the PBS budget?

The President had an Executive order. We are cutting Government.

I have been requesting the information.

Well, you have managed to filibuster long enough to get through my entire time here.

Did you have information that would show you the budget for Mr. Neely for Region 9, for the Western Regional Conference or all of the conferences?

This gets to a bigger question of the culture in GSA.

Is there any reason that GSA, all agencies of Government, is there any lack of space that we have right now that would not allow all agencies of Government to hold some type of conference in a public building?

To plan travel for a birthday is totally impermissible.

Why are you hiding the information from this committee and from the American public?

This bill would provide Vet Centers with one additional tool to serve our veterans: the ability to search in the electronic database base of DD-214 records.

I strongly believe that the professional staff and counselors at Vet Centers should be given the same tools to serve our veterans.

As a veteran myself, I know the difficulties experienced by those transitioning to civilian life.

I'd like to thank everybody for attending today. This is a great turn out. It shows the community is interested in veterans affairs and engaged and this is exactly what we need to see.

I want to make sure those that are out there that are realizing at a later age that they've got a lifetime issue and are seeking help.

I was proud to serve in the United States Air Force, both on active-duty and as a member of the Air Force Reserves.

Now more than ever we must be vigilant about safeguarding the health and mental well-being of our servicemembers and veterans.

This is an American issue and we're both very committed to that. We have to find a solution for that.

As your Representative, I have heard time and time again from veterans and families in our community about the important work being done by the Central Valley's Vet Centers.

Gentlemen, I am so grateful to each of you for taking time out of your busy lives to be here with us this afternoon to share your stories and expertise.

It's an immense honor to represent you and all the citizens of California's 19th District.
