According to the Coast Guard's Capital Investment Plan, over the next 5 years, annual funding for acquisitions never exceeds $1.2 billion.

Unfortunately, based on the fiscal year 2016 budget request, as well as the fiscal year 2016 through 2020 CIP, it appears the President refuses to make those investments.
