I will tell my colleagues, coming to Congress recently with the expectation that it was a place of contentiousness and divisiveness, I will tell my colleagues that, having worked with the gentleman from Ohio (Chairman Regula), he has affirmed my faith in our legislative body. He is a bulwark against inappropriate action and has taught this freshman so much for which I am appreciative. It is truly something that I wish our citizens could see firsthand for themselves. It is far different than perhaps the worst of our examples. It is, in fact, exactly the way that the system works.
