I am glad that we are having a discussion about the integrity of our elections as being fundamental to our democracy.

I would like to start by thanking Senator Murkowski for her leadership as chairman of the Natural Resources Committee, on which I also serve, in addressing some of the long-term needs of Puerto Rico.

We stopped doing aggressive antitrust enforcement in the eighties.

I still feel that more resources are necessary to provide effective care for women veterans who have been impacted by sexual trauma.

I fully agree with you and Senator Ernst that legal barriers around this solution for effective treatment in provider-scarce communities need to be taken down.

Telemental health is critical to care in frontier states within the Continental United States, like Montana, and geographically separated states like Hawaii and Alaska.

I sponsored a bill with Sen. Ernst to allow allowing VA health officials to practice telemedicine across state lines

Is this available in any of the Hawaii parks?

I think that these programs are really important as we talk about trying to expand the reach...

I had earlier requested... for a list of all of the youth programs that you are reviewing...

I would also be concerned about the Park Service's prioritization of supporting smaller project partnerships...

I think you mentioned in your earlier testimony that you are reviewing all of the programs that you have regarding youth and that you may have to make some decisions.

The President's Fiscal Year 2018 budget proposes a 13 percent cut to the Park Service's overall budget and an 11 percent cut to the visitor services line.

How do you keep track of where they go, what they do, after they leave your Corps experience?

If we want to have a resilient and strong America, we need resilient and strong people.

It is/was a very popular program which I hope will be continued by this Administration.

However, while America is growing more diverse and urban and younger generations are making up a greater share of the population, these trends are not reflected in visitors to our national parks.

Again, last year marked the third year in a row that we saw record visitation at our national parks.

As one of the Baby Boomers, I am very proud, along with Senator Angus King, of our park passes.
