On Monday I sent a letter to the NRC in an effort to find answers to why this response was so inaccurate.

I believe the Obama administration's response to my letter was, at best, misleading.

I am a strong supporter of nuclear energy as a vital component of an all of the above approach to American energy.

I continue to believe that the Commission functions best with all five Commissioners in place.

I think it is undercutting sanctions on Russia, increased Russia's political leverage over Eastern Europe.

So this is a rule that came out, not only late in the Obama Administration, actually after the election, after it was obvious that the election results were in.

We need to use all of our energy resources to grow our economy and to keep energy prices low.

A constituent of mine, Mr. Andy Johnson of Fort Bridger, Wyoming, was threatened with a $75,000 fine per day.

I have full confidence that Mr. James has the knowledge and skills needed to provide leadership for the Corps to fulfill its vital missions, and I urge your support of his confirmation.
