This misguided congressional pursuit of environmental justice will no doubt create poverty causing shame, powerlessness, hopelessness, and humiliation to hard working Americans.

the Federal clean energy standard that is being proposed is overly ambitious, and it will undoubtedly raise electricity rates for low-income, minority, rural, and senior citizen communities.

Look, in my opening statement, Paul, I discussed the increase in poverty and injustice as we--as the Democrats do away with fossil fuels by the year 2035.

These are ravaging effects we are having on communities all across this world in our pursuit of having battery storage.

In this new political environment, fossil fuel workers feel powerless as liberal Democrats and the administration team up to take away their life-long jobs.

My fear, Mr. Chairman, is that the same will happen to these thriving communities that have relied on good-paying oil and gas jobs for generations.

I just think this is just a hypocritical issue, in many respects on it.

Under this current administration, the oil and gas industry is under attack from pipelines to hydraulic fracturing.

So maybe it is time, Mr. Chairman, that the men and women of Government lose their sanctimonious attitude and walk in the shoes of these families who are about to experience poverty, all in this guise of justice.

Where is the justice in that?

the last thing we need to do is take away good-paying jobs and disrupt people's lifestyle more than it already has.

When the Government creates policies, its first priority should be the welfare of the people, especially those impacted the hardest.

Don't you think you would find a way to stop these illegal sales on your platforms if you were held personally liable?

Should you not be held liable when people are dying because your people are allowing these sales to take place?

Do you think you are above the law? You are knowingly allowing this poison to be sold on your platform.

If we can find posts this easily, shame on you for not finding them for yourself.

We have been dealing with this for 3 years, Mark. Three years this has been going on.

How many more families are going to die? How many more children are going to be addicted while you still study the problem?

Maybe it is time for Congress to have an adult conversation about this loss of liability protection.
