No government agency or private entity can fully protect veterans from potentially malicious actors online or otherwise.

This past Monday, November 11th, was Veterans' Day. In our hectic world we sometimes fail to take the time to consider that we owe our freedom to those who have protected our freedoms.

I had one of my best friends I will ever have on this earth die of a very rare lymphoma that the perimeter of his base was sprayed with Agent Orange.

For those veterans who filed an initial form, I can see how that confusion could occur pretty easily.

How will VA handle any Blue Water Navy claims that are filed on the incorrect form?

A lot of veterans are out there. They do not know were they placed or not, and I think your ship locator is going to be a great tool to be able to verify, much easier for the Navy than for the Army, I think.

I don't know what economy we are describing, but in my lifetime, this is the best one I have seen.

Too often, as Americans, we tend to take our freedom for granted, but we should never forget that we owe our freedom to our Nation's veterans.

One of the committee's longstanding priorities has been addressing recruitment and retention across the Department of Veterans Affairs.

That's why I will reintroduce legislation this Congress to make it possible for veterans to again work in congressional offices as work-study students.

I believe there is no more appropriate way to honor our veterans and their service than by training their fellow veterans to assist them with their VA benefits.

The Federal government's process for awarding contracts is liable to inefficiency and abuse.

Ten years is long enough. We must act quickly to ensure that the Bakersfield clinic is built.

Our goal should be a contracting process that is efficient, transparent, and accountable.

The thousands of veterans in my community cannot be asked to wait any longer than they already have.

In 2017, VA Secretary David Shulkin stated that he 'would not wait' for more studies to be completed before moving forward with dog therapies for veterans.

However, this does not appear to be a sufficient reason to wait and deny this therapy to veterans who need it.

This type of work-therapy training is widely recognized as beneficial therapy for our veterans suffering with this invisible disability.

I have introduced H.R. 3147 to clarify congressional intent by stating the Secretary may provide a service dog to a veteran, regardless of whether the veteran has a mobility impairment.

I respectfully urge the Committee to hold a hearing to examine whether TMS is a viable alternative treatment option for veterans suffering from PTSD and TMI in addition to depression.
