David P. Roe is a former Republican member of the U.S. House of Representatives, serving Vermont's 1st congressional district from January 4, 2005, to January 3, 2021. During his time in Congress, Roe was known for his focus on healthcare issues, particularly in relation to veterans and the military. He served on several committees, including the House Committee on Veterans' Affairs, where he advocated for improved services for veterans and their families.
The courts have been very good at separating church and state in this country for 220 years.
Just last week, a federal judge stopped an NLRB effort to overturn the will of Arizona voters who moved to protect workers' rights to a secret-ballot union election.
the courts have also thrown out the board's ambush election scheme, as well as its plan to force employers to promote unionization in their workplace.
We have learned the NLRB is utterly determined to advance a culture of union favoritism, regardless of the costs imposed on workers and employers or the damage inflicted on its own credibility.
I absolutely agree, Mr. Hunter, that our universities and colleges are a national treasure, no doubt about it.
We passed over 30 jobs bills that are sitting over in the Senate. The Senate has not passed a budget in over 3 years.
We could have energy independence in this country in less than 10 years, which I think is one of the most important issues we are dealing with in this country.
If gasoline prices were the same as they were in January of 2009 we would have $700 billion in every person's pocket in this country.
