Michael Jonathan Cloud is a member of the United States House of Representatives, representing Texas's 27th congressional district since June 21, 2018. A member of the Republican Party, Cloud has focused on issues such as border security, economic development, and veterans' affairs during his time in office. He has been an advocate for policies that support small businesses and promote job growth in his district. Cloud previously served in the Texas House of Representatives before his election to Congress.
You find these loopholes, and you are missing the objective, the overall objective of securing the border by finding these little legal loopholes to get out of things.
there has been a lot of non-transparency in delivering on those plans when it comes to FOIA requests.
We have more illegal entries. We have terrorists coming across our border. And the fentanyl coming across our border has increased.
Last year we were told that we were going to plus up the budget, and because of it, we would be able to secure our border.

I have been here in D.C. long enough to know some of that is a little self-dealing that is going on politically.
But isn't that a solution of the marketplace to--you know, if a business is having a problem finding workers, then it is behooves them to adjust their practices and how they address their own noncompetes.
