The President's budget is only a recommendation, as I always remind the Agency.

Expanding the authorization of care from seven to 14 days will give these female veterans more time to make alternate arrangements.

It seems that VA needs more guidance as to when Congress expects it to use this valuable resource.

To think of a time when veterans are--it is just appalling and unacceptable that our veterans have to wait to get in to see a doctor at the VA.
