that was thanks to the intervention of Congressman Al Green, who is a representative in Houston, and because of that the U.S. State Department has passed information about the victims to the Russian police.

Al N. Green is an American politician serving as a member of the United States House of Representatives from Texas's 9th congressional district since 2004. A member of the Democratic Party, Green has focused on issues such as civil rights, healthcare, and economic justice throughout his tenure. He has been an outspoken advocate for various social issues, including gun control and voting rights.
The question is not really whether there is a role, but whether we will take the time to fashion and craft a meaningful piece of legislation without anybody's recommendation so that we may have the role codified into the law.
I would hope our committee would sometime get to the point where, OK, let us see what we can do to fix it.
It is our responsibility, our duty, to balance the needs and the rights, the rights of consumers and the needs of those in the financial services community.
I think it is exceedingly important that we do our very best to stay on target, stay on focus.
Thank God for you. I really do believe that FHA has been of great benefit to this country.
FHA did not create the housing crisis. Some things bear repeating. FHA did not--N-O-T--create the housing crisis.
I have concluded that I am really not a Democrat, I am a person who respects people who are willing to risk their lives for us.
the very least a grateful nation can do is make sure that they have good, decent housing, housing that is appropriate for their needs.
I would like to see a veteran opportunity fund for veterans who lose licenses, et cetera, where they can keep them for employment and stuff.
I would just like to say this: I am an archer right now. I help veterans become heroes at home.
we are the land of the free because we are the home of the brave, and we can never forget this.
I believe that these things transcend party lines. They transcend ideology. They really are about helping people who have gone out of their way to help us.
VetsFirst and Rebuilding Together, a national housing nonprofit, have collaborated with Representative Al Green in developing legislation that would help to meet these needs.
I just want to say thank you so much again, Congresswoman Biggert, Congressman Gutierrez, Congressman Green, and all the other members of the subcommittee.
This bill should be alive and well, and I hope that it will move forward rather quickly.

The National Defense Authorization Act was passed by this chamber earlier this year, allows the National Nuclear Security Administration sites to adopt OSHA workplace standards in lieu of the NNSA present standards.
