We are in a hell of a mess right now from the standpoint of where the Nation is and the lack of ability here to deal with the spending side of the equation.

I hope in the 2019 budget you are able to convince the administration to look at Social Security and Medicare.
There is no way to deal with the issues that we have before us without growth rates substantially increasing.
It sounds like the tax policy that the White House is planning to put in place would be revenue neutral in every year over the next 10 years.
As one Senator, I think we need to be really careful when we do this tax reform to not over-project revenues.

Somebody in the administration either yesterday or the day before said that the President's tax reform plan will be offset on a static basis every year of the budget window.
