Well, I want to thank you, Madam Chair, for holding this hearing and I want to congratulate you on your new role.

I believe that spectrum like roads and bridges are part of our critical infrastructure.

Without additional investment in the electricity sector--if we try to limit global warming to the 2 degree scenario without it it is going to cost $2 trillion over the next 40 years.

There is international consensus that it would be very difficult if not impossible to meet our climate change goals by 2050 without this in place.

The fraud is being committed by companies, not the poor, and I think that should be emphasized, too.

The danger with the kind of information, Commissioner Pai, that you stated is that somehow the potential for fraud somehow gets translated in the newspapers as actual fraud.

I would hope that the Commission finds a way to work together and get all three.

There is one area that I believe merits investigation and it is the Anti-Competitive Zero Rating, particularly when it is married with restrictive data caps.

I firmly believe that it is the imperative of public policymakers at all levels of Government, regardless of party or affiliation, to act quickly to address the urgent needs of the Flint community.

I think it passed unanimously, which provided some of the provisions that Mr. Wessler was talking about.

I would ask you to take particular care to ensure that three options remain available and that enough flexibility exists in the program so that people don't lose their access to this critical resource.

Privacy shouldn't be a luxury for a few that can afford it.
