We are fighting for our voting lives. In essence, we’re fighting for the life or death of the ability and the right to vote.
The filibuster is a rule. It has no place in the Constitution. It is not a constitutional amendment or provision.
I ask the question why. Why can we not have the protection of the 15th amendment, which instructs the Senate constitutionally that they have a duty to end all laws that abridge the right to vote on the base of race.
Whatever it takes, we will be there as nonviolent perpetrators of the civil disobedient persons we are.
The 15th Amendment said the rights of citizens of the United States to vote shall not be denied or abridged.

The damage was already done with the voting ID law when we had to come in on the section 2 in Texas.
We will have to fight to make sure that Texas is fair, so that the districts are not stolen.
