It doesn't seem to me like he would be covered by executive privilege, but that doesn't mean that the president can't assert it and have it litigated.

I need your back. If I'm going to be able to stand up to the Chinese and fight the Chinese and win -- and look, as much as the economy is being hurt here in the U.S., it pails in comparison what is happening to China.
