He needs to pick up seats in the Senate. For a variety of reasons. He wants to confirm his judges. He wants to be able to have a block about any bad things the House is going to do. And I think that is happening.

You know, rhetorically I think Joe Biden has hit the notes very, very well. Substantively, as you can imagine, I'm not particularly excited about many of the things he is talking about doing. But I think his tone has been very, very good.

Both parties use fear. I mean, you know, they're going to take your social security away; they're going to destroy Medicare.
