I think on the issue of manufacturing, in general, you do not want to set specific percentage targets for different industries.

I would make the case... that manufacturing, while productivity has gone up immensely in the last many years in manufacturing, wages have not kept pace with that productivity.

As Senator Dodd also mentioned, traditionally autos respond well to low interest rates.

I think we might look at locating those--an institute like that somewhere outside of Washington.

Despite these efforts, the economic crisis has gotten worse, not better.

I think there should be accountability.

If you buy these at face value, you are going to guarantee billions and billions of dollars of losses for the U.S. Government.

The causes of this crisis are complex and cannot simply be blamed on the CRA.

Repealing or weakening the CRA would be a mistake.
