Didn't you think it was incumbent upon you to set the record straight?

We would've liked to have known 6 months before an election, May 30th of last year, that targeting was going on.

One month ago, Inspector General Russell George gave the committee information that he informed the IRS on May 30th, 2012, that targeting of conservative political groups was taking place.

You didn't think it was appropriate to come tell Congress what was taking place?

Sequestration is a bad policy and it will negatively impact small businesses, and I hope it is replaced with balanced deficit reduction.

Congress should ensure that small business opportunities to offer innovative and unique goods and specialized services are preserved.

From an overall perspective, I think that the goals of saving the taxpayer money and increasing our utilization of small business are absolutely mutually reinforcing.

Instead, we saw small business participation go up from about two-thirds to over three-quarters.

We always want to increase both the quality and the ineffectiveness of our training.

I'm asking basic questions about the investigation, like who's heading it up, and you can't tell me that.

Some of them testified that they were paid a visit by the FBI. Specifically, Catherine Engelbrecht in Texas said she was visited by the FBI.

This is the most important issue in front of the country the last 6 weeks, you don't know who's heading up the case, who the lead investigator is?
