We will take all Lois Lerner's emails, we'll take all Bill Wilkins' emails, and we'll take all the emails from IRS staff to the White House.

Why have you limited the search to May 10th, 2013?

Mr. Werfel, we want them all.

I want all the information. So we have the IRS releasing 6103 information, but they can't give us Lois Lerner's emails.

Don't you think the American people would have liked to have that information from day one?

If the President wants to work hand in hand with Congress and you guys want to get to the bottom of this story, why wasn't that done back in May when this story broke?

You told me earlier, Mr. Werfel, that you have not sent us all Lois Lerner's emails.

I believe Members across the aisle can unite and agree that providing these children with some sort of immigration relief is the just and fair thing to do.

This is an issue of fairness, decency, and compassion.

Border security and interior enforcement remain my top priority during this debate--it must come first.

We need to move forward by building a new system of immigration laws that will stand strong and secure.

Our current immigration laws have proven inadequate and are not being enforced.

What you have done is you have sacrificed the rule of law on the altar of political expediency.

I think we have a higher responsibility than that. I think we have to preserve the rule of law so that this country can last for many, many generations into the future.

I hope today's hearing is not just another attempt by those opposed to reforming Wall Street and protecting consumers from predatory banking practices.

But if the purpose of this hearing is to impede implementation of new consumer protections and to address the causes of the financial crisis, I strongly reject that.

What is clear from looking at the Dodd-Frank Act and its implementation so far is the real awareness by the law's authors and regulators of the dangers of banks that get too big and the importance of protecting small-sized community banks.

But to say you're somehow favoring the Republicans, I just don't get it.

Everything you guys have looked at--the heightened scrutiny, the delays, the fact that these groups were never approved...

I wish you would have shared it, frankly, but--and I made that point clear a month and a half ago when you were here.

That's why this is all about Washington and this Chief Counsel's Office.
