I am concerned that Japan is not doing nearly enough, and that Canada is not even negotiating to remove significant tariff and non-tariff barriers to U.S. dairy.
We need to open up more markets for our dairy products in TPP countries.

We need more of both. And the first thing we need to do to get there is to pass Trade Promotion Authority.
Congress gets the final say.
TPA lays out our negotiating objectives for our trade deals.
We have to get involved before the deal is done, not after it is finished.
Nothing stops the President from negotiating a deal without instructions from Congress.
If we don't write the rules of the global economy, other countries will.
To get the best deal possible, we have to be in the best position possible.
