It is important bipartisan legislation, Mr. Pekoske, which will raise a global baseline of aviation security.

I strongly urge my colleagues on the committee and my colleagues in Congress to help the airline industry enforce the rules of law on this.

The bottom line is, the problem on airplanes is very troubling, the problem on airplanes is very real.

I am pleased that the committee is holding this very important hearing.

What is happening at the Southern Border is absolutely out of control.

The fentanyl seized this year is enough to kill every man, woman, and child in the United States six times over.

These threats, combined with low morale and retention caused by the shameful defund the police movement is putting American communities at greater risk at a time when we can least afford it.

Is rebuilding our immigration system allowing cartels to get fentanyl across our border in record numbers?

There is no doubt in my mind that cybersecurity is a deep preeminent threat to our country today.

I would like to thank Chairwoman Clarke for convening this important hearing today.

Our Nation's cybersecurity cannot simply be a Federal effort or a private effort, but that it is--it is and must be a joint effort.

I look forward to continue prioritizing major cybersecurity reforms through this committee on a bipartisan basis, including my SICI bill, which is coming up in the next few days.
