I agree with you very much about the public-private partnership in general and the need to exchange the information regarding malicious attacks in particular.

We need it to be a $5 billion agency within the next 5 years.

We need to boost up CISA's budget so they can be the things that we need them to be.

A bipartisan bill sponsored by Ranking Member Katko and co-sponsored by Chairman Thompson and other committee Members.

Ranking Member Katko's leadership to identify and secure SICI, with CISA playing a lead role in the designation process.

Ranking Member Katko's Five Pillar Plan will add to the success.

I think this will get us a long way to where we need to be.

I cannot express how dangerous I believe this rhetoric to be, as it sends all the wrong messages to our adversaries.

At this crossroads we can either choose to work together and successfully enact meaningful changes that will benefit this country or we can choose to go about business as usual, leaving American communities vulnerable.

It is long past time that we fix that and I thank you for raising that issue.

I think a disproportionate share went to some communities.

Some States did a very good job of proportionally handing out things. Other States were just left to their devices.

I think it is really important that the initial assessment report that was done in September 2020 about COVID, has it been updated?

I am deeply troubled by the anemic funding levels proposed by this administration, which would slash Coast Guard funding apart from limited salary enhancements.

Given the tremendous rise and surge of individuals coming to the border, wouldn't it be fair to call this a crisis?

It would seem to me that it would be a good time for us to contemplate plussing up Border Patrol.

Given the gravity of the situation, given my discussions with folks at CISA, it is clear to me that they need more resources.

By eliminating border wall funding, President Biden is allowing cartels, smugglers, criminals, and traffickers to continue exploiting the border.

The Biden budget simply fails to reflect the priorities that are critical to the defense of the homeland.
