The role the Federal Government can play, I think, primarily right now, is in basic R&D.

Nevada recently created its Renewable Energy Bill of Rights that protects home energy generation and storage.

In Nevada, we are home to a large battery factory, the Tesla Gigafactory.

I was heartened to hear the conversation, your testimonies, because it is right up my alley.

This bipartisan bill aims to resolve a number of public lands issues in Pershing County, Nevada.

Together, we have continued the proud legacy he fostered with Senator Reid on developing bipartisan land bills.

I thank my colleagues for ensuring that these bills are on the agenda. They are critical to the people of Northern Nevada.

The conversation I have with them all the time is their cyber security and they just don't have the resources to really address this issue and are oftentimes victims.

I am a proud supporter of broadening opportunities in STEM fields for minorities and women.

So I know in Nevada--and I talk on a regular basis with our small businesses--this is one of the issues--right?--because they don't have the resources they need to really tackle cybersecurity, and they're looking for additional resources.

I introduced the Code Like A Girl Act, which is supported by groups like our Girl Scouts.

Collaboration between the public and private sectors is essential for progress.

We are looking at different programs to encourage private solutions.

I am disappointed that the Treasury Department killed the myRA program.

Half of renters pays more than 30 percent of their income for rent and utilities.
