I thank my friend. If we don't do this, 19 days from today 98 percent of the American people--really 100 percent of the American people--get a tax increase. They have more taken out of their checks. It will hurt shoppers in the stores, diners in the restaurants, it will hurt jobs across the country. So why don't we take the 98 percent that we agree on right now and put it on the floor right now. By voting ``no'' on the previous question, that's what we can do and should do.
