I said we were going to run a secure and fair election here in New Jersey and I meant it.
I say this as a former federal prosecutor: these are the hallmarks of a secret police.
If there are areas where it has somehow swept people into its ambit who should not be there, then I am more than happy to work with the Legislature on specific carveouts for those groups.
