Mikie Sherrill: “I will continue to call for the closure of Delaney Hall because of reports like these.”

Our investigation is ongoing, we will follow the facts wherever they lead, fix the problems we inherited, do it the right way, and hold those responsible accountable.

Shirley is a veteran of the US Department of Justice and the New Jersey attorney general’s office. She has the judgment to run these elections and the strength to stand up to Trump’s attacks on voting.

If there are areas where it has somehow swept people into its ambit who should not be there, then I am more than happy to work with the Legislature on specific carveouts for those groups.

I urge all New Jerseyans to take this storm seriously, stay alert and follow local guidance.
