Mikie Sherrill: “You should not be here. You are not helping the people detained at Delaney Hall, you're not helping detainee families…”

New Jerseyans deserve fairness and they deserve accountability.

We’re doubling the number of new homes on state land. We’re investing tens of millions in affordable and workforce housing, and we’re getting shovels in the ground faster.

Our investigation is ongoing, we will follow the facts wherever they lead, fix the problems we inherited, do it the right way, and hold those responsible accountable.

I urge all New Jerseyans to take this storm seriously, stay alert and follow local guidance.
