When you say nobody is paying list price, there are people paying list price.

I agree, but you guys have got to convince us that it is working.

People are having to make sacrifices to be able to pay for their insulin and some are even forced to go without it, sometimes with tragic consequences.

They will literally say to me, 'You in Congress or some Government agency should just set the price and that is it.'

All I hear from my constituents, they are just totally disgusted, right.

Few people have heard of the Consumer Product Safety Commission but it serves a critical role in protecting consumers from dangerous products.

Inaction is simply not acceptable, but Acting Chairman Buerkle seems to be pushing just that.

So it shouldn't take a congressional hearing to get CPSC to do its job and prevent babies from dying.

Unfortunately, I am concerned that CPSC has become an inactive agency.

In order to be fully effective, CPSC needs to be a proactive agency, not a reactive one.

I think you are just not doing enough to protect public health and the environment.

I think it is way beyond what the law requires, and I think it is over-redaction, really is, is I think offensive to the communities that are dealing with this PFAS pollution.

Well, that is a question of interpretation. Oftentimes the Trump administration says they are following the law and they don't, but whatever.

I just don't see how the American people can trust you to protect their health and environment if you don't, you know, commit to what I just asked with regard to the MCL.

I don't think that is enough.
