It is time for this committee and this Congress to pass comprehensive legislation to prevent incidents like this in the future.

If all we do is have a hearing and then nothing happens, then that is not accomplishing anything.

These pirate broadcasts can be frustrating for people but, more critically, they prevent people from hearing important communications and public safety information in times of emergency.
