What are Republicans afraid of? Why won't they hear the truth about Trump's unfit nominee, Emil Bove?

You are obligated to address a point of order according to the rules of this committee.
I don’t understand this. What are you afraid of, about even debating this, putting things on the record, hearing from every senator?
We’re simply asking for a credible amount of time to air our concerns before the vote.
This lacks decency. It lacks decorum. It shows that you do not simply want to hear from your colleagues. It is absolutely wrong.
This is unjust. This is wrong. It is the further deterioration of this committee’s integrity with a person like this.
This lacks decency. It lacks decorum. It shows you do not want to simply hear from your colleagues. This is absolutely wrong.
Why are you doing this? What is Donald Trump saying to you that is making you do something which is violating the decorum of this committee, the rules of this committee, the decency?
I just want folks to know, because we are a nation of decency, across the political spectrum we’re a nation of decency and what this president is doing is such a violation of the values of our nation to have people who are masked.
I have had the real pleasure, over the last 14 years, to work on some great bipartisan projects. Probably, my favorite is the Feed the Future Program. The chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee says he is proud of the Feed the Future…
I cannot support your nomination. I think you’ve shown failure of leadership at a time that America especially needs people of honor to stand up and show what leadership actually is.
That’s not leadership, when you blame people that tell the truth. That’s not leadership when you can’t say the words, ‘I made a mistake.’
But I don’t care throw me in jail. Do what you have to do. I’m going to continue to stand up for what’s right.
I’m hoping that when one person stands up and calls this out, it ignites the courage of another person and another person and another person.
We’ve got to have more people willing to stand up and fight and take him on.
I’m going to continue to fight. I don’t care if this president calls me out every day, mean tweets me, threatens me.
For weeks, Americans have watched federal agents with no visible identification detain people off the streets and instill fear in communities across the country.
