Cory Anthony Booker is an American politician and attorney currently serving as the junior United States senator from New Jersey, a position he has held since 2014. A member of the Democratic Party, Booker previously served as the mayor of Newark from 2006 to 2013, where he focused on urban development and public safety initiatives. First of all, I joined the country in shaking my head at Rand Paul. He is a joke in every sense of the word.
When I talk to people across Kentucky, Democrats, Republicans, independents, and I mention the name Rand Paul, what typically follows is laughter. People see him as a joke. They see him as an embarrassment.
He is stoking these divides. He is fanning hate. He is making a mockery of Kentuckians, while we struggle with generational poverty and are fighting to survive.
If we lift up a vision that inspires people to believe things can be different, if we listen to the people in quit playing the political games, we can build a coalition and change our future.
We have to dig in now more, be prepared for what`s to come. But understand that the next election and the one after that, one after that are building blocks to who`s going to have the majority of the court in years ahead.
Today is a day of healing for a lot of people. Today is the day of triumph for a lot of folks.
You faced insults here that were shocking to me. Well, actually not shocking. But you are here because of that kind of love.

The far-right has been very good at changing the court. Even Republican nominees now are no longer the kind of moderate justices of the past.
Well, elections have consequences. And I`ve watched over the years how the extreme right has invested, rallied, pushed, and fought to make sure their agenda now is before America.

Heck, five of the Supreme Court justices on the Supreme Court were nominated by a president that did not win the majority.
He has had a willingness to use the county's AAA bond rating to secure a $120 million bond.
I believe the wisdom garnered and demonstrated by Mayor Baraka is a great way for us to look to what the future could be.

How could they create these caricatures? How could they create these exaggerations? How could they disrespect a person like her who has done everything right in her life and in her journey? How?
It was the treatment in some of these questions that triggered a hurt in so many people I know. Judge Jackson, all the way to the highest court in the land.
