We have to be a good partner here at the Federal level to ensure that we provide those resources to get those EV charging stations and infrastructure into all types of communities.

The President requested the emergency supplemental funds for DHS in October of last year.

I want to commend you and the dedicated public servants at DHS who stop more fentanyl and have arrested more drug traffickers in the last 2 fiscal years than the previous 5 combined.

I wholeheartedly disagree with that. Chairman McCaul said you have made this country much more dangerous. I disagree with that.

And so people are dying. They are dying on the battlefield. They are dying of hunger, and for some reason House Republicans cannot put a simple vote on the floor, and it is pretty outrageous.

Which means that every day that House Republicans wait, people die.

Capacity building, economic resilience, are paramount to that.

For the record, Mr. Secretary, since my time has expired would you respond to that question for me, what are we doing to get the Solomon Islands to be aligned with us, particularly in our security partnership with Australia?

I am proud to say that my district has received over $11 billion in discretionary grants from the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act.

I want to make sure that we are preparing for that information sharing to go both ways so that our ports have access to timely, actionable intelligence about cyber threats.

We have talked a lot in our Cybersecurity Subcommittee, this Congress, about how to streamline reporting requirements to make sure they are effective.
