I come from the proud State of New Hampshire, the Live Free or Die State, and one of the things that we, I think, put a premium on in our State is privacy and issues of personal protection.

I think Precheck is a great program, but we need to make sure that this program is managed carefully on the inclusion issue.

I think it is important that we delineate between those who have been vetted and those who have received expedited screening through other avenues.

I think that this is legitimate, and I think that people in New Hampshire, we are a State that certainly values protecting our national security and the public, but we are also a State that has a long, proud tradition on a bipartisan basis…

I am really pleased that yesterday the President announced the formal nomination of Vice Admiral Peter Neffenger to become TSA Administrator.

I support my constituents on this.

I hope that you will look at our letter seriously again, and I think that this has been an issue that New Hampshire has spoken loudly and clearly on.

It seems to me that we are not stepping up to help provide this kind of assistance that we have talked about here. We signed this agreement.

I urge you to stand with me in showing the right judgment by upholding the 1,500-hour standard for the safety of all Americans.
