I do not think it is always clear who has jurisdiction.

If you spend any time at all talking to people in Indian Country, there is not a reservation in North Dakota that thinks they have too much law enforcement.

We have a unique and critical responsibility.

We need to ensure that our schools are safe and secure for our children.

I am concerned and aware of some challenges we have with the border sheriffs.

I think you would be more successful in terms of retention.

We need to do better recruiting from the local people who live there, who have lived that lifestyle.

We do not keep track of these kids. And we are begging you, if, in fact, this is going to be the outcome, where we are separating children, in some cases, infants, from their parents, we need to know where these kids are.
