Trent Kelly is a U.S. Representative for Mississippi's 1st congressional district, having served since 2015. A member of the Republican Party, he has focused on issues such as military and veteran affairs, economic development, and education during his time in office. Kelly has been an advocate for the interests of his constituents, particularly in rural areas of Mississippi. Before his congressional career, he served in the Mississippi Army National Guard and was a district attorney for the 11th Circuit District of Mississippi.
