I thank Congressman Thompson, Congressman Harper, and the rest of the Mississippi delegation; and, most importantly, thank you, God. I would also like to thank Senator Wicker and Senator Cochran, who are present. Thank you to my family, which would include my mother and my wife and my three children and my brother, who cannot be here. Thank you to my friends who are in the gallery above. Thank you to the citizens of the First Congressional District of Mississippi and to my fellow Members. I am humbled and honored to be able to serve this great Nation in this capacity.
